Huntsville has a new Haitian food truck, and Chef Kay is on fire. We have already been back three times, which says enough.
So far we have tried the vegetable stew, spicy fried pork, fried chicken stew, fried snapper fillet and jerk chicken. The jerk chicken is not on the menu, so ask if they have it.
Every plate comes with rice, mac and cheese, plantains and pikliz, so you get a full meal. If it is your first time trying Haitian food, start with the vegetable stew or the fried snapper fillet. Both are super flavorful.
They open after 4pm. This one is going on our list of hidden gems in Huntsville.
